FOZZY Frontman Arrested In Kentucky

January 28, 2010

According to TMZ.com, FOZZY frontman/WWE wrestler Chris Jericho was arrested at a gas station in Kentucky early Wednesday morning (January 27) after cops say he and a fellow wrestler were both "extremely intoxicated" in public.

39-year-old Jericho was taken into custody in Kenton County around 5 a.m. for "alcohol intoxication in a public place."

Jericho was released on $120 bond.

According to Kentucky state law, an arrest is usually made when a police officer is suspicious of an individual when the person "appears in a public place manifestly under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he may endanger himself or other persons or property, or unreasonably annoy persons in his vicinity."

A first-time offense requires the individual to be booked at the local jail and be charged with a small fine, usually between $25 and $50.

"Chasing The Grail", the new album from FOZZY — the band featuring Jericho and STUCK MOJO mastermind Rich "The Duke" Ward — is available for streaming in its entirety at AOL Music.

"Chasing the Grail" was released on January 19 via Australia's Riot! Entertainment.

FOZZY will be signing copies of "Chasing The Grail" at J&R Music World (23 Park Row - across from City Hall Park) in New York City on January 29 at 5:00 p.m.
